• Arrian Movahedi is one of a few hundred engineers in the U.S. with hands-on GaN-on-SiC RF power amplifier design experience across defense and commercial systems. His work spans high-power transmitters, tactical radio design and testing, as well as reference RF standards such as TRL PCBs and RF test coupons — bridging theoretical design and real-world performance.

Career Highlights

• Designed world-class high-power-density microwave transmitters at Epirus for c-UAS applications.
   
• Delivered 17 microstrip PCB tape-outs (100% first-pass success) up to 8 GHz.
   
• Developed 7-layer mixed-signal RF PCB designs integrating power, control, and RF paths.
   
• Designed 14 products at MACOM, including seven GaN-on-SiC RF power amplifiers published on their website and several internal R&D and TRL designs.
